Abdullah Almuhaiteeb MBChB MS FRCPC
Dr. Almuhaiteeb graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2006. He completed his internal medicine residency in 2013 at McGill University (Montreal, CA). In 2015, he did Nephrology fellowship at McGill University. Dr Almuhaiteeb is certified in Internal medicine and Nephrology by the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in addition to American board of internal medicine. Currently, Dr Almuhaiteeb is working as Nephrologist Consultant in Al Amiri Hospital (Kuwait). Beside his general nephrology duties, Dr Almuhaiteeb focuses in treating patient with glomerulonephritis and Lupus.
Dr. Majeed Haider is a consultant rheumatologist and internist currently working in Salmaniya Medical Complex. He graduated from Arabian gulf university with first degree honor in 2009. He Finished internal Medicine residency program in Salmaniya Medical Complex and became Arab board certified in Internal Medicine in 2016. Alongside he also received the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP UK).
Dr. Haider started his training in rheumatology by joining the rheumatology unit in SMC in 2016 during which he received a specialty degree in Rheumatology from the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2018. Dr. Haider pursued his training in Rheumatology by completing a two-year International Clinical Fellowship Program in Ireland from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) in 2023 during which he received special training in MSK ultrasound and vasculitis. His interests include inflammatory arthritis, vasculitis and SLE.

Dr. Anwar AlMuzaini
Graduated from Kuwait University Faculty of Dentistry and pursued her residency in oral medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where she also obtained a Master of Science in oral biology degree and completed a fellowship in oral and maxillofacial radiology. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine and is currently practicing at Al Adan Dental Speciality Center.
Gülen Hatemi is a Professor of Medicine in Istanbul University – Cerrahpasa, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology. She is a member of the Behçet’s Syndrome Research Center in Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, a multidisciplinary center specialized in research and care of patients with Behçet’s syndrome. Her main research area is Behçet’s syndrome and she has published several articles including drug trials and clinical research on this disorder. She has conducted a series of studies focused on understanding the life impact of Behçet’s syndrome. She is also interested in outcome measures development. She is currently the convenor of the Disease Assessment Study Group of the International Society for Behçet’s Disease and is co-chairing the OMERACT Behçet’s Syndrome working group.

Dr. Rohit Aggarwal
Dr. Aggarwal is a professor of medicine at University of Pittsburgh and medical director of Arthritis and Autoimmunity Center at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is the co-director of UPMC Myositis Center. His research and clinical areas of interest are clinical and translational research in inflammatory muscle diseases (myositis) and associated interstitial lung disease. He is the past-chair of the medical advisory board of The Myositis Association (TMA) as well as past-chair of the scientific committee of IMACS, which are the largest patient and physician groups working in the field of myositis, respectively.
Dr. Aggarwal is an established independent clinical investigator with significant funding from NIH, foundations and industry and currently leading several collaborations internationally with other key leaders in the world. He has maintained an extremetly high publication record and recieved national and international recognition of his work. He continues to be a leader in disease criteria and outcomes measures in myositis as well as in clinical trials of novel therapeutic agents for myositis. He is currently the prinicipal investigator or member of the steering committee for several international phase 2/3 clinical trials in the area of myositis and associated ILD. Dr. Aggarwal is also mentoring future generation of rheumatologist with great success and attracting younger rheumatologist towards myositis research for the advancement of the field. Dr. Aggarwal lectures at various international conferences and promotes patient education through his YouTube channel.

Dr. Osama Alalwan
Dr Osama Alalwan is a consultant in Rheumatology and Internal medicine at Salmaniya Hospital, Bahrain. He graduated from Arabian Gulf University in 2009. He finished his Arab board in Internal medicine in 2016, and since then he joined the Rheumatology unit of Salmaniya hospital. He leads the Louise Coote Lupus Clinical Trials Unit which has a portfolio of investigator and industry led trials. Dr. Alexandra NanzerKelly
Dr. Alexandra Nanzer, Ph.D., is a Consultant Respiratory Physician and expert in severe asthma and eosinophilic lung diseases at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Centre for Severe Asthma and Eosinophilia Related Diseases and a Senior Lecturer at King’s College London, UK.
Guy’s Severe Asthma Centre is the largest center of its kind in the UK, with over 1000 patients treated with anti-IL5/5R mAbs for asthma, EGPA, and associated eosinophilic lung diseases, and Dr. Nanzer is part of the multidisciplinary EGPA clinic with rheumatology, cardiology and ENT colleagues.
She leads the largest asthma transition service for young adult patients with severe asthma in the area and has a special interest in adolescent medicine.

Andreas Kronbichler is Assistant Professor for Renal Autoimmunity at the Medical University Innsbruck. He has been trained in Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom and spent time at the prestigious Vasculitis and Lupus Clinic at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. His research focuses on improvement of renal outcomes, co-morbidities and complication of glomerular diseases. Professor Dasgupta has been Head of Rheumatology and Director of Research at Southend University Hospital and holds professorships at Queen Mary London, Essex and Anglia Ruskin Universities. He is a foremost exponent on Giant cell arteritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, and large vessel vasculitis and n expert on vascular ultrasound. He has published over 350 original articles on these topics including the first report of interleukin-6 elevation in GCA PMR and the GiACTA trial of tocilizumab in GCA. He organizes the prestigious annual Southend symposia/workshops on GCA ultrasound.

I am a rheumatologist at the Royal Hospital in Oman former currently a board member at the Oman Society of Rheumatology (OSR) & past Vice President of OSR. I completed my training at the University of Toronto in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
